Pair of houses. C17 with extensive early C20 alterations.
Timber-frame with painted plastered infill; gabled C20 tile
roof with large brick end stack to rear of ridge. T-plan.
EXTERIOR: single-storey plus attic. 2-window range. 2
entrances with C20 doors flank central passageway entrance.
Windows have C20 leaded glazing.
No.43, to left, has 4-light bay window under hipped roof and
window with 2-light casement to left end. No.45, to right, has
3-light bay window.
Attic has 2 gabled half-dormers with bargeboards and narrow
lights over paired 2-light casements; close-studding to
gables. Square framing with braced wall plate. Large rear
wing.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
