House, at one time used as Sunday School, now offices. C16
with C19 alterations. Timber-frame with plastered brick
infill, mainly close-studded; gabled old tile roof with
renewed brick cross-axial stack to front of ridge. Wealden
plan with unequal jettied bays.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Entrance to left wing has
4-centred head and plank door with light. Windows have
casements with iron opening casements. Ground floor has
central canted bay window with painted brick base and
1:3:1-light casements; 2-light window in chamfered reveals to
left end and larger 3-light window to right end. First floor
has three 2-light windows. Centre has coved eaves and braced
wall plate. Pebble-dash right return.
Rear lateral stack and C20 rear wing.
INTERIOR: not inspected but recorded as having flat joists and
concealed roof trusses.
