2 houses, now single house. Probably late C17 with later
additions and alterations including mid C18 rebuilding of
front wall and extension to rear at left, and c1970's porch to
right.
Timber-framed with reddish-brown brick facades mainly in
stretcher bond on lias stone plinth at left, and gabled
plain-tile roof. Original L-plan with range to rear at right.
EXTERIOR: single storey and attic; 2-window range. 2 central
entrances have board doors in moulded wood frames; 2 outer
3-light metal casement windows, all openings under elliptical
arches. 2 roof dormers each with 3-light casement windows. End
stacks have cornices.
INTERIOR: extensive exposed small square panels of
timber-framing to rear and partition walls. Chamfered spine
beams and exposed joists; inglenook to left has bressumer
beam. First floor has central jowled stud; interrupted
tie-beam, exposed purlins.
Right extension has 2 massive jowled studs and exposed
timber-framing, exposed purlins.
