GV II

House in row, with shop. Mid C19, modified. An irregular
rhomboid plan, resulting from insertion of buildings with the
street widening of the C19. Rendered and colourwashed, Welsh
slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 2-bays. C20 shop front to ground floor
with central recessed doorway, late C20 casement windows to
upper floors. Enamelled sign reads "Broad Street" in frame to
right at first floor level.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Part of the development which took place after Broad Street
(formerly Wette or Water Lane) was widened between 1835 and
1849.
Included for group value.
