Shop with house over, in row. Mid C19. Rendered with plain
pilaster strips, Welsh slate roof continued both sides, brick
stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 2 bays. C20 shop front to ground floor,
with central doorway, with yard gateway to right having pained
moulded stone architrave and a pair of later C20 iron gates.
Upper floors have 12-pane sash windows in plain openings.
Bracket for hanging sign between bays at first floor level.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Part of the development which took place when Broad Street
(formerly Wette or Water Lane) was widened between 1835-1849.
Included for group value.
