2 houses, now single house. Dated 1632. Painted timber frame
on stone rubble plinth with painted brick and render infill
panels, stone rubble gable end. Graduated slate roof. 2 rear
chimneys: projecting stone rubble eaves stack with tiled
offsets and C19 brick shaft, and integral stone stack with C19
brick shaft.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and single storey with attic. Front with
square framing 3 panels high to left and 4 panels high to
right; central gabled wing projects with date in gable and C20
wood casement at each storey; plain doorway to left under open
porch with slate pentice roof. To left is single gabled dormer
with 2-light casement over 2-light ground-storey casement; to
right 2 C20 casements at both storeys and C20 partly glazed
door to right.
Right-hand gable-end truss: square framing 4 panels high with
pair of straight tension braces, straight tie beam, vertical
struts, collar with twin raking struts. Left gable-end of
stone rubble. Rear: square framing partly covered by
projecting stack and lean-to extensions and incorporating C20
casements.
INTERIOR: ground-floor rooms have exposed ceiling beams. Twin
trenched-purlin roof.
