Station Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C18 or early C19, with mid C19 extension.
Coursed squared stone rubble on stone plinth with chamfered
cap, brick. Plain-tile roofs with ashlar coped gable parapets,
roof-lights in rear pitch. Integral brick gable-end stacks
with later C19 restored caps. 3-bay plan with 2-bay end
extension to right.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic. South-east front is a 2-storey,
3-window range of simple renewed 2-light casements with keyed
ashlar lintels with raised keyblocks. Central 6-panelled front
door in cambered arched opening, behind a projecting ashlar
porch with pointed arched opening. Brick extension to right is
a lower 2-storey, 2-window range of 3-light casements, with
single 3-light casement to ground floor.
