BURFORD

SO56NE Stable block 40 metres north of
582-1/8/21 Burford House

GV II

Stable block now garden museum and store. C18. Brick.
Plain-tiled roofs. Plan of 2-storey square central block with
pyramid roof and gabled single-storey flanking wings.
EXTERIOR: central lantern consisting of clockface to north on
square projecting tower surmounted by octagonal round-arched
arcade with ogival leaded roof and weather-vane. North front
with C20 multi-pane casements, and 2 French windows at ground
floor. C20 casements flanked by plain boarded doors to ground
level of right return side with C19 casement over.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
