SO57SE Memorial to Edward Mason 4 metres
582-1/4/108 south of nave of Church of St James

GV II

Chest tomb. Early C19. Sandstone ashlar. Flat plain lid.
Inscribed semicircular side panel with radial gadrooned
spandrel carving. Plain ends. Projecting vertical beaded and
gadrooned corner piers. Plain chamfered plinth, recessed below
panels. Commemorates Edward Mason d.1807 and his wife Mary
d.1809.
