Chest tomb. Late C18. By Thomas Colley of Stoke Prior.
Sandstone ashlar. Flat plain lid with moulded edges. Inscribed
side panels: south panel with raised border and raised central
circular incised panel with flanking raised carved motifs
including skull, crown, ribbons, vase and crossed bones; north
panel with raised border and raised festoons. Plain ends.
Shaped inset corner pilasters. Moulded chamfered bed on plain
plinth. Commemorates Elizabeth wife of Edward Mason d.1796.
