Pair of semi-detached houses, early C19. Amber brick with
stucco dressings; low-pitched roof behind stucco parapet.
3 storeys and basement (that to No.152 with C20 extension,
that to No.154 rusticated stucco), 3 bays each, with later
3-storey, 1-bay extension to No.152 and 2-storey extension to
No.154.
Steps with wrought-iron hand rails up to entrances in slightly
set-back, outer entrance bays. No.152 has stucco Ionic porch
with corresponding fluted pilasters flanking door (C20) with
cornice head and plain fanlight. No.154 has segmental-headed
doorway flanked by timber fluted Ionic 1/2 columns, the door
with a moulded cornice head and radial fanlight. Flat,
gauged-brick arches to sash windows, those to No.154 with
glazing bars. Ground- and 1st-floor windows in tall, shallow
recessed round-headed arches with stucco bands at spring.
Plaque at 2nd floor: "Prospect Place".
INTERIOR: not inspected.
