Pair of villas. Early-mid C19. Stucco with stucco detail; dry
slate hipped roofs with projecting eaves; central rendered
stack. Double-depth plan pair with 2 rooms at the front plus
entrance bays set back at left and right.
2 storeys; overall symmetrical 4-window front with pilasters
flanking the bays. Horned sashes with glazing bars, the
ground-floor windows are canted bays with moulded entablature.
Tripartite doorways under segmental arches; No.6 on right with
original margin glazing and panelled door, all set behind a
pedimented doorcase with consoles and pilasters.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
A complete semi-detached pair of villas in the Classical
tradition.
