GV II

Harbour walls, wharfs, quays and slipways. Late C18 and C19.
Battered walls of Plymouth limestone rubble, some vertically
set, with limestone dressings to older parts and where
heightened but mostly coursed limestone; dressed quoins and
copings. Harbour walls on E side of Stonehouse Pool with
slipways, quays and wharfs projecting into pool including:
Stone Hall Quay, Brunswick Wharf, Lucas' Wharf, Strand Quay,
Freemans Wharf and Admiral's Hard which projects far out into
Stonehouse Pool, its extremity only exposed at low tides.
