Villa. Built 1827. Stucco over brick with concealed roof and
stuccoed end stacks; iron porch and railings.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basement, 3 first-floor windows,
including that to full-height bow at left. First-floor moulded
band. Bow has tripartite 6/6 between 2/2 sashes to ground and
first floors, with 4/8 sash to basement, all curved on
section; otherwise 6/6 sashes, all in plain reveals and with
sills. Flight of roll-edged steps to central entrance a
6-panel door with fanlight with radial glazing bars. Crowning
frieze, cornice and blocking course.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: porch has scrolls to uprights and frieze;
railings to sides of steps have scroll motif. Occupies a
prominent situation to end of Nos 57-77 (qv).
