House. C17 with late C18/early C19 refronting and later
alterations. Painted brick in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof
with stepped dentilled eaves.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic and cellar. Single-window range
of one large 8/8 sash with painted channelled voussoirs,
decorative keystone and projecting sill on 1st floor; full
dormer above with 12-pane casement window. Ground floor:
canted bay window with 4/4:8/8:4/4 sashes, moulded cornice,
pitched leaded roof, and projecting sill.
Doorcase on right has 8-panel door, overlight, and hood which
continues across frontage of No.24 (qv).
Square-panelled timber-framing of left return visible in
side-passage.
Rear: timber-framed gabled wing.
INTERIOR: reputed to contain timber-framing.
