House. Early C19. Red brick, with some yellow, in Flemish
bond. Plain tile roof with central brick pediment
incorporating part of the brick dogtooth eaves course; shared
brick end stacks. Central staircase plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 3-window range. Boxed sashes
with painted channelled voussoirs, keystones and sill, on 1st
floor 8/8 sashes flanking central 6/6 sash; on 2nd floor, 4/4
sashes flanking central 3/3 sash.
Ground floor: 2 canted bay-windows with 4/4:6/6:4/4 sashes,
dentilled cornices and pitched leaded roofs flanking central
doorcase which has Classical architrave with 3/4 Doric columns
and open pediment, Gothick-traceried fanlight, 6-panel door,
and stone step with nosing. Rendered plinth with cellar grille
on left.
