House, one of a group of 3. Mid - late C18, with later
alterations and additions. Red brick in Flemish bond. Hipped
Welsh-slate roof with painted moulded eaves cornice and
chamfered brick ridge stack on left.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and cellar. 2x2 bays. Entrance elevation:
to right on each floor, a 6/6 boxed sash with painted
channelled voussoirs, keystone and sill; to left, a blind
window painted to match in similar surround. Central entrance
has Classical architrave with enriched pilasters and open
pediment with enriched cornice; Gothick-traceried fanlight;
6-panel door; 3 stone steps with wrought-iron handrails.
Chamfered brick plinth with cellar grille on left.
Left return (garden elevation) has tripartite 2/2:6/6:2/2
sashes with surrounds as before. Old tile roof to rear.
