Terrace of 3 houses, now offices, and attached area railings.
Numbered right to left, described left to right. c1820-34, in
3 stages of build. Pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond,
concealed roof, brick party-wall stack at right and wrought-
and iron balconies and railings.
EXTERIOR: 4 storeys on basement, 7 first-floor windows
(3:3:1), with 2-lower-storey narrow entrance bay to right.
Mainly 6/6 sashes, taller to first floor; ground floor has,
from left, two 6-pane French windows with overlight and
margin-lights, 4/4 sash with margin-lights; right bay has
tripartite windows with 4/4 between 2/2 sashes and cambered
heads to each floor. 1 blind opening to third floor, second
bay. Entrances: central entrance to No.7 a 5-panel door and
left entrance to No.5, 6-panel double doors with fanlights
with batwing-and-circle type glazing bars; entrance to right
in far right bay: 4-panel door with sidelights and overlight
with decorative glazing bars in elliptically-arched recess.
Further entrance to passage below 6th window has double plank
doors in round-arched recess.
Round-arched opening between Nos 3 and 5 gives access to rear.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Area arrowhead railings. Continuous
balconies to first floor have Canterbury bell motif and panels
with circular motif, those 5 to right have embellished rods
with lattice and frieze. Individual balconies to ground floor
and to first and second floors at right have similar
embellished rods. Ground floor at left has similar Canterbury
bell and embellished rods.
