GV II

House, one of row of three houses. Late C18 with C19 and C20
alteration. By George Cripps. Brick, some rendered, with slate
roof and rendered end stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey, 3-bay front, incorporating part of taller
2-bay building to left. The lower part has 2-storey timber
canted bay windows, with lead flat roofs, based on French
window style casements with glazing bars. These have a double
dentil cornice at eaves and flank a square projecting porch
with C20 half glazed uPVC door. The taller bay to the left has
a large canted bay to the ground floor, based on angle
pilasters and sashes with glazing bars and with a flat roof.
At first floor level there is a recessed sash with glazing
bars.
