Pair of semi-detached villas and attached railings. c1834-40 with later additions and alterations. Stucco over brick with hipped slate roof to main range and stucco party-wall stacks; iron railings and balconies.
EXTERIOR: two storeys on basements, six first floor windows (3:3) with single tall storey, two bay range to right. Stucco detailing includes ground-floor band surmounted by Doric pilasters between windows, paired to party wall, surmounted by shaped frieze forming wide, segmental-arched openings over windows; projecting outer porches have similar Doric pilasters and entablature, the cornice of which forms part of the moulded first floor string course and is surmounted by similar pilasters to ends and between windows, paired to party wall. Wide eaves. Range to right has plinth surmounted by outer and central Doric pilasters, entablature and blocking course; two blind openings. Main range has six/six sashes, taller to ground floor, with six/six and eight/eight sashes to basement. End entrances, flights of nine roll-edged steps to three3-panel doors with sidelights and overlights.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: railings to sides of steps have stick balusters; ground floor balconies have embellished oval motif.
