House, later shop, now offices. C15, C18, C19, and C20
alterations. Roughcast front, timber frame, plain tiled roof,
coped gables behind parapet, 2 reduced gable stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3-bay front with tall parapet. To ground
floor a late C18 shop front, altered C19, has a central glazed
door with overlight, to the right a glazing bar bowed shop
window, to left the original window has been replaced C19 and
louvred. Beyond to the right a doorway with architrave housing
roundels and bordered overlight. All with narrow pilasters and
carved brackets to frieze and dentilled cornice. To 1st floor
3 plain sashes.
INTERIOR: this building had a C15 jettied front, and the
ground floor posts supporting the jetty, now cased in,
survive. The 1st floor wall is timber-framed but covered over.
C15 king post roof trusses and rafters survive.
