Terrace house. c1770 (OS says pre-1776) with C20 additions.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, concrete tile roof.
EXTERIOR: Tall five storeys with two bays, all plain sash. Ground floor has projecting square C20 display window, and glazed door with very shallow transom light to left. Three platbands, cornice, shallow blocking course and parapet, latter continuous with No.17 (qv). There are straight joints each side, and rear, to Monmouth Street, includes small projecting wing under swept-down roof, with asbestos-cement slate hanging to sides.
INTERIOR: Not inspected. Although sharing parapet with adjoining property, this house has five floors rather than four.
