Two terrace houses. Early C19 (row in existence in 1819), altered and extended late C19.

MATERIALS: limestone ashlar, double pitched slate roofs with moulded stack to the left.

PLAN: double depth plan.

EXTERIOR: two and three storeys, each house has three-window front. No.8 to left has three storeys (second floor is later) with cornice and parapet. Six/six-pane sash windows with sill bands to upper floors. Cornice and frieze to first floor, platband to ground floor. Five-panel door glazed to top, to right. No.9 similar, two storeys to front with three storeys to rear range. Six-panel door glazed to top.
