House, now flats. c1770 with second floor added early C19 and with late alterations.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front, painted up to second floor sills, ashlar to rear; double pile parapeted roof, artificial slate to front and rear, with coped party wall with two truncated ashlar stacks to left.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and basement, three-window front. First floor has three C20 canted oriel windows; second floor has plate glass horned sashes in plain reveals with stone sills with similar blind window to centre. Ground floor has to left and right plate glass sashes in C19 moulded architraves with stone sills, to centre C20 door in C19 projecting stone porch with shouldered lintel to opening to front and carved console brackets supporting heavy moulded cornice recessed to centre front. Pennant paved bridge over area infills it completely except for gratings to left and right lighting two-light timber casements below with four-pane casements above transom. Remains of probable former eaves cornice over first floor with offset in wall above; moulded eaves cornice and coped parapet. Former second floor sill band now cut back and remaining to left return only. Rear elevation has C19 and C20 windows, six/nine sash to second half-landing, six/six sash to second floor left, wrought iron balconettes to first floor right and second half-landing. French doors with border glazing to ground floor. C19 ashlar extension up to first half-landing.
