Shop with accommodation over. Early C19 (Ordnance Survey indicates pre 1830), heightened mid C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, rubble at rear, slate roof with rear pantile.
PLAN: Double depth plan with deep single pitch roof, two stacks to right, entrance on left.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys with attic. Ground floor has late C19 shopfront, alteration of earlier one. Three-light window with narrow timber mullions over stone stallriser, fascia above. Glazed shop door to left, and panelled house door with two glazed panels to left of that. First floor sill course, tripartite sash, each part plain. Listel and frieze, attic added mid C19, window as below, cornice, parapet, roof not visible at front, ashlar stack to right. Rear elevation shows heightening clearly, with ashlar over rubble and eight by eight sash above six by six. Slate hanging on gable wall.
INTERIOR: Not inspected. Part of once replicated terrace which has been variously altered.
