Terrace house now shop with accommodation over. Believed to be c1774 (from deeds) with mid C19 additions.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, now painted, to front, ashlar to rear; double pile parapeted roof, artificial slate to front and rear, with two ashlar stacks to left.
PLAN: House at angle of street narrows to rear.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and basement; single window front. First floor has margin light sash in splayed reveal; second floor has similar sash in splayed reveal with stone sill. Ground floor has mid C19 shop front built out over basement area with two light window to front with timber mullion and transom with single light windows to sides, recessed half-glazed door to right with basket headed arched overlight, with three pane window forming screen to right with basket head with carving in spandrels; in surround of panelled pilasters to left and right with heavy carved console brackets to enriched and moulded frieze and cornice. Stall riser in wrought iron screen allowing light to two/two sash in plain reveal to basement. Coved eaves cornice and coped parapet; lead hopperhead and downpipe to right. Rear elevation has two/two horned sashes, C20 window and door to ground floor.
