Terrace house. c1775.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front, now painted to ground floor, ashlar to rear; double pile roof, parapeted to front, artificial slate to front and rear, with two ashlar stacks to left with early clay pots. Staircase to rear.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and basement; two window front. First floor has two paired plate glass horned sashes in splayed reveals with continuous stone sill; second floor has three grouped plate glass horned sashes, narrower to left and right, in splayed reveals with continuous stone sill. Ground floor has to left plate glass horned sash in splayed reveal with stone sill, to right six-panel door with flush reeded, fielded and glazed panels with coloured etched glass in stone doorcase with ovolo moulded architrave with flat surround with heavy console brackets supporting projecting moulded cornice over; one step to pennant paved crossover with cast iron footscraper. Basement has two/two sash and glazed roof covering area. Band course over ground floor; coved eaves cornice and coped parapet. Lead hopperhead at eaves to left. Rear elevation has aluminium windows.
