Terrace house, now flats. c1775, raised probably early C19 converted C20.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front and rear; double pile parapeted roof, artificial slate to front, covering not visible to rear, with coped party walls to right and to left with two ashlar stacks, to front with early clay pots. Staircase to rear.
EXTERIOR: Four storeys and basement; two window front. First floor has two paired plate glass sashes in splayed reveals with continuous stone sill; second floor has three grouped plate glass horned sashes, narrower to left and right, in plain reveals with continuous stone sill; third floor has two two-light timber casements in plain reveals with stone sills. Ground floor has to left plate glass horned sash in splayed reveal with stone sill, to right six panel door with flush, fielded and single glazed panel in stone doorcase with ovolo moulded architrave in flat surround with heavy console brackets supporting projecting moulded cornice over, one step to lias-paved crossover. Basement has two/two horned sash in plain reveal with stone sill, C20 door under crossover. Band course over ground floor; coved former eaves cornice over second floor, coved eaves cornice and coped parapet. Rear elevation has plate glass horned sashes.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Attached wrought iron railings with shaped heads on painted bases.
