Terrace house. c1775.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front, now painted to ground floor, ashlar with rubble to stack to rear; double pile roof, parapeted to front. Staircase to rear.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and basement; single bay three window front. First floor has Venetian window with four/four six/six four/four horned sashes with fan glazing to head of centre window, in splayed reveals with continuous stone sill. Second floor has four/four six/six four/four horned sashes in splayed reveals with continuous stone sill. Ground floor has to left 8/8 horned sash in splayed reveal with stone sill, to right six panel door with flush fielded and glazed panels in stone doorcase with ovolo moulded architrave with flat surround with heavy console brackets supporting projecting moulded cornice over, one step to pennant paved crossover. Basement has eight/eight horned sash in plain reveal, half-glazed door under crossover. Band course over ground floor; moulded eaves cornice and coped parapet. Rear elevation has hipped roofed extension up to first half-landing; horned glazing bar sashes.
