Terrace house. c1775, raised in C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front, painted up to second floor, ashlar to rear; double pile hipped parapeted roof, concrete tile to front, covering not visible to rear, with two stacks to left rebuilt in reconstituted Bath Stone. Staircase to rear.
EXTERIOR: Four storeys and basement; two window front. First floor has two plate glass horned sashes in plain reveals with continuous stone sill and wrought iron balconette. Second floor has two similar sashes in splayed reveals with continuous stone sill. Third floor has two similar sashes in plain reveals with stone sills. Ground floor has to left similar sash in splayed reveal with stone sill with wrought iron balconette, to right six panel door with fielded and single glazed panel in pedimented Doric doorcase, one step to crossover with concrete and pennant paving. Basement has one plate glass horned sash in plain reveal with stone sill, door under crossover not visible. Band course over ground floor, former eaves cornice over second floor, moulded eaves cornice and coped parapet. Rear elevation has plate glass horned sashes, eight/eight sash to first half-landing. Canted bay to ground floor and first floor.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Attached wrought iron railings with shaped heads on concrete bases and with bottom bar.
