Includes:SION HILL Two pairs of large gatepiers flanking entrance to Sion Hill Place.Late C18/early C19.Limestone ashlar.Block caps over wide cornices,friezes,rusticated shafts,and plinths.Second from right pier has been rebuilt(1993).HISTORY:Part of the elaborate entrance screen to this terrace,along with gates on Sion Hill(q.v.),which define the status and remoteness of Pinch's terrace.
