Terrace house. Late C18 with C19 addition to right and C20 alterations.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front and left side, ashlar and rubble to rear, parapeted roof, artificial slate to front and rear, has parapet to rear to original range to left only, range to left shallower with full height extension with roof as lean-to against original range, coped gable wall to left with ashlar stack with some early clay pots.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and attic to left. Four storeys to right with basement, two-window range. First floor has to left plate glass horned sash in splayed reveal with timber sill, to right similar smaller sash. Second floor has to left similar sash in splayed reveal with stone sill, to right similar smaller sash in splayed reveal with timber sill, with further similar sash to third floor above. Ground floor has to left and right plate glass horned sashes in splayed reveals with stone sills, to centre six-panel door with flush and fielded panels, with one Pennant step in pedimented Doric doorcase. Grating in pavement to opening to basement to right, blocked opening to basement in plinth below ground floor window to left. C20 rooflight in front slope to left. Rear elevation, partially visible, has C20 window to second floor.
