Description

Thomas Telford, 1828 with late 19th century additions and
alterations. 2-storey, NW facing 3-bay house with 1828
porches at gables; harl pointed rubble, tooled granite
dressings. Late 1d9th century centre door sheltered by
lean-to porch with flanking canted bay windows of same
date. Single storey and attic rear wing.
12-pane glazing survives in 1st floor windows, 2-pane
elsewhere. Coped end stacks; slate roof.

Statement of Interest

Insh Parish created Quoad Sacra parish in 1828. Earlier

parish church repaired and Parliamentary manse built.
