Mid 19th century. 9-bay hotel, consisting of 3 former 2- and 3-storey, 3-bay houses, in terrace. Painted rubble. Painted raised margins.
E (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: 3-storey, with 2nd floor breaking eaves, house to left: door at centre; regularly disposed fenestration at ground and 1st floors, 2-light window in bay to right at ground floor; windows, with gabled dormerheads, in outer bays at 1st floor. 2-storey houses to centre and right, consisting of 6 bays; door to left of left bay; vehicular pend in bay to right; regularly disposed fenestration to each bay at ground and 1st floors, 2-light in 2 bays to left of centre at ground floor.
S ELEVATION: window to right at 2nd floor, above adjoining lower building, No 22 Main Street, Stewarton House (see separate listing).
N ELEVATION: adjoined to slightly lower building, No 26 Main Street (see separate listing).
Some 4-pane glazing in sash and case windows; some modern glazing. Red sandstone coped skews. Painted brick gablehead stacks, ridge between centre and right houses. Small grey slates. Octagonal cans.
