Description

Early 19th century with later alterations and additions. Single storey, T-plan with full-height rear E wing; 5-bay with 6th broad garage bay to outer left. Painted render with red sandstone margins.

SW (MAIN) ELEVATION: door at centre, 2 windows flanking each side. Broad garage to outer left.

GABLE ELEVATION: gabled jamb with 2 windows; main body of cottage recessed to outer left.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slate roof, lead flashings; apex stacks with stone coping, octagonal cans.

Statement of Interest

The house is shown on the 1st edition map. Dwarf palisade fencing bounds the small front garden down the road.
