Description

Mid 19th century. Single storey pair of terraced cottages. Coursed, stugged ashlar. Chamfered reveals. Plain bargeboards, exposed rafters.

SW (MAIN) ELEVATION: 5 bays symmetrically disposed; broad slightly advanced gables flanking centre link bay, small window, hoodmould, bracketted eaves. Shallow gabled rustic porches inner bays on gable, herring-bone timber door, letterbox fanlights. Windows to outer right.

SIDE ELEVATIONS: 4 bays symmetrically disposed. Gabled bay advanced at centre, 2 windows, flanking bipartites.

8-pane timber sash and case windows; bipartites with horizontal-pane glazing. Graded grey slate roof, lead flashings; sandstone ridge stacks with moulded coping, circular cans.
