Description

18th century. Single storey, rectangular-plan cottage. Rendered; painted ashlar window and door surrounds.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: off-centre door; single flanking windows. Section set back to far left; door and window.

S ELEVATION: not seen, 2001.

W ELEVATION: 4 irregularly spaced windows.

N ELEVATION: plain gable wall.

Replacement windows and doors. Pitched roof; replacement double Roman tiles. Coped gable apex stack to N; polygonal stack. Lower roofline to S section; ridge stack to S (probably former S gable apex stack).

INTERIOR: modernised interior.

GARDEN WALL

Low rubble wall with sloping shoulders runs eastwards along roadside.

Statement of Interest
