18th century. 2-storey 3-bay house; later 20th century extension to W. Forestair. Painted margins. Harled.
N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 3-bay section to left; replacement forestair from right leads to central 1st floor door; flanking ground floor and 1st floor windows. Pitched wallhead to narrow wall to right at 1st floor. Later 2-bay section set back slightly to right; ground floor window to right; small 1st floor window to left; larger 1st floor window to right.
E ELEVATION: 1st floor window to right. Small attic window above left.
S ELEVATION: not seen, 2001.
W ELEVATION: ground floor window to left; 1st floor window to right.
Predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Glazed door. Replacement railings to forestair. Pitched clay pantile roof. Advanced skews at gables and between older and later sections of house. Gable apex stacks to earlier house.
INTERIOR: not seen, 2001.
WALL
Sandstone rubble wall extends southwards from rear E gable; timber boarded garden door. Wall bounds rear garden and lines Strynd Vennel.
