Description

Later 19th century. Semi-detached single-storey and atic, 3-bay house. E elevation stugged ashlar, remaining elevations rubble; ashlar dressings. Base course. Stop-chamfered margins. Stone mullions.

E (PARK ROAD) ELEVATION: door at centre, with raised surround, cornice and blocking course; panelled door and 2-pane fanlight. Advanced panels, with cornice and blocking course, in outer bays; tripartite window to right, bipartite window to left.

N ELEVATION: adjoined to No 11 Park Road (see separate listing).

S ELEVATION: window to left at 1st floor, above modern garage.

Largely 4-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows, 2-pane side lights to tripartite window. 2 slate-hung canted and piended dormer windows above outer bays; rooflight at centre. Coped skews, mutual to N. Gablehead stack to S, mutual stack to N. Purple-grey slates. Some original cans.

The semi-detached neighbour, No 11 Park Road, is listed separately. The pair are included as decent representatives of later Victorian semi-detached single storey villas.
