Description

Harry Bates, 1899. Bronze enthroned and crowned figure of Queen Victoria holding orb, with frieze depicting various scenes from her life. Statue set on moulded polished Peterhead granite pedestel and wide, shallowly stepped base.

The pedestel is inscribed 'Victoria R I, 1897, Diamond Jubilee'.
