Description

George Gordon MacLaren circa 1890. Two 4-storey 4-bay tenements, coursed rubble with flat relief concrete details. Rubble-built rear. Elevation to Baxter Park Terrace: Centre keystoned and cornices door, Canted end bays concrete with semi-circular device at 1st. Ornate wrought-iron balconies cantilevered from canted bays. No 18 symmetrical with central shouldered wallhead stack. No 17 more wideley spaced. Elevation to Park Avenue more plain, with single and bipartite lights and wallhead stack. Slate roof. Rubble-built ridge and wallhead stacks. Windows sash and case, 2 and 4-pane glazing pattern. Original rainwater goods to Nos 18 and 35, but not No 17.

Interior: stone flagged stair with cast-iron columns and barley-sugar balusters. Majolica tiles.

Low coped boundary walls.
