Earlier 19th century, with later alterations, subdivided into 3 houses (No 3 at ground, No 7 at 1st floor above; No 5, 2-storey house). 2-storey, 5-bay pair of classical houses. Stugged ashlar, droved ashlar dressings; blank rubble side and rear elevations. Base course, cill course to 1st floor, eaves course; quoin strips.
SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: doorways closely spaced to centre; panelled door to No 3; glazed aluminium door to No 5; plate glass fanlights above each. Window above doors, windows to floor of outer bays, except blinded to penultimate to right.
NW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen fully, 1994. External staircase to No 3 (entrance to No 7).
4-pane timber sash and case windows to No 3; modern aluminium windows to No 5. Grey slate roof; coped ashlar skews to gablehead; stacks to gablehead, ashlar to No 3, brick to No 5. Delicate cast-iron gutter brackets and original gutter in place.
INTERIOR: not seen, 1994. Shutters in place in No 3.
BOUNDARY WALLS: rendered with coping to front, rubble with coping to sides.
