Description

Early 19th century with later alterations. Single storey with basement, 3-bay classical terraced house Painted render to ground, droved ashlar to basement. Band course between basement and ground, cornice and blocking course. Architraved windows.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: asymmetrical; 4 (concrete) steps to pilastered and corniced doorpiece to centre; deep-set panelled door with plate glass fanlight above. Windows to each floor of flanking bays.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen, 1994.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof extended rendered stack to left, coped and rendered stack to right.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALL: rendered with coping.

Statement of Interest

B Group with Nos 24-32 (even Nos). Forms part of a short terrace of single storey houses. The house is called St Helens.
