Circa 1878. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan villa with service wing adjoining to E. Squared and snecked sandstone; coursed stugged ashlar with polished dressings to S (entrance) elevation. Base and eaves courses; bracketted cornice; quoin strips; basket-arched wincows at 1st floor; windows architraved at ground floor, chamfered at 1st.
S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central pilastered porch with paterae, consoled cornice, and arcaded balustrade above; segmental-arched doorway; panelled door; plate glass fanlight; single window with long and short blocks to surround at 1st floor. Corniced advanced bipartite window at ground floor to outer right, with arcaded balustrade above; single window with long and short blocks to surround at 1st floor. Full-height canted window to outer left, with dividing cornice.
E ELEVATION: single sotrey made 2-storey flat-roofed service wing to outer right; single window at ground floor; single round-arched window at 1st floor.
W ELEVATION: replacement timber-framed conservatory with canted end attached to outer right; single window at 1st floor.
Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof; 3 shoulcered and corniced wallhead stacks (1 rendered); lead flashing; some original rainwater goods; moulded eaves guttering.
INTERIOR: not seen 1990.
BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIERS: low boundary wall to street; corniced and coped ashlar gatepiers with chamfered angles to ?E; high coped rubble boundary wall to W and mutual walls.
