Description

Mid 18th century, reworked 19th century. Irregular 2-storey and attic 2-bay terraced house. Harl-pointed rubble; squared dressings. Base course. Panelled door to outer left at ground, 2 bays widley spaced to right; larger windows off-line at 1st floor; pair of velux rooflights. Regular harled rear elevation with large piend-roofed tripartite dormer and rooflights; garden door to far right.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slates; mutual ashlar skew to left; brick stack. Cast-iron downpipes.

Statement of Interest

Well restored recently (1980), but render removed from the front. Evidence of former openings. Part of continuous group with 81 to 91 Castlegate (see separate listings).
