Description

18th century with later alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan, crowstep-gabled house adjoining 2-storey, 2-bay house to right (S), listed separately. Harled.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: deep-set boarded door at ground in bay offset to left of centre; window in each bay flanking; larger window in bay to outer right. regular fenestration above.

N (SIDE) ELEVATION: later flat-roofed projection at ground; gablehead stack above.

2- and 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; stone ridge; cavetto moulded skewputts; harled, corniced gablehead stack to N; common coped stack to S; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1998.

Statement of Interest

Altered at ground, but retains small deep-set windows at 1st floor, broad chimney stacks and a crowstepped gable.
