Description

Late 18th to early 19th century with later alterations. 3-storey, 3-bay (4-bay at ground) rectangular-plan near-symmetrical house with flat-roofed single storey addition to rear. Harled. Plain cement margins to openings. 2nd floor windows set close under eaves.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: timber panelled door with small-pane fanlight at ground in bay to centre; window at each floor above. Window at each floor in bay to outer left. Window at ground in bay to right of centre. Window at each floor in bay to outer right.

N (SIDE) ELEVATION: blank with gablehead stack.

S (SIDE) ELEVATION: deep-set door, offset to left of centre, at ground to main gabled block; gablehead stack above. Modern part-glazed door with window in each bay flanking to flat-roofed addition to right.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Modern grey slate roof; stone ridge; harled corniced gablehead stack to N and S; predominantly cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: converted as Health Information Centre at ground; unseen above, 1998.
