Earlier-mid 19th century with later additions. 2-storey, symmetrical, 5-bay pair of plain classical houses. Stugged ashlar sandstone to principal elevation; snecked sandstone to rear; sandstone rubble to NW; brick and harled square-plan addition to rear. Droved, raised margins to windows. Base course; eaves course; single windows.
NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: painted, tripartite doorpiece (later) with cornice and blocking course above in bay to inner right; timber panelled door with 2-light fanlight flanked by side windows; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in bays to centre and outer right. Architraved, painted doorpiece in bay to inner left; timber panelled door with 2-light fanlight; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in bay to outer left.
SW (REAR) ELEVATION: no 13: square-plan addition to ground in bay to centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in bay to left and right. No 15: not fully seen.
12- and 2-pane timber sash and case windows to NE; 4- and 2-pane timber sash and case windows to SW; skylights to SW. Grey slate roof; piended slate roof to addition. Ashlar coped skews; ashlar coped wallhead stacks to NW and SE. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
BOUNDARY WALLS: rendered ashlar with ridged ashlar cope.
The doorpiece to no 13 seems to be a piece of brinkmanship of a later date, as the doors and fanlights appear to be the same as those of
no 15.
