Description

18th century and later. Semicircular-coped squared and snecked rubble walls enclosing church and graveyard. Carved ?skull and crossbones? stones set into wall at NW and SW (adjacent to Session House) gates.

N GATEPIERS AND GATES: channelled and rusticated ashlar square-section gatepiers with deep cornice giving way to carved orb finials on swept plinths. Decorative wrought-iron gates with overthrow archway bearing Star-of-David surmounted by cross.

E GATEPIERS AND GATE: pedestrian gateway with gatepiers as above, and decorative wrought-iron gate.

GRAVESTONES: some fine moulded apex style stones with various carvings of death emblems and family crests, inscriptions badly eroded. Table stones with classical and gothic detail.
