Probably mid 19th century with later additions and alterations. Irregular-plan, near-enclosed walled garden (approximately 2,500m?) to N Houndwood House. Bowed corners to NE and NW; wall missing in part to SW; no wall to SE (bounded by stream). Coped, harl-pointed rubble walls with red brick inner linings. Various early 20th century greenhouses adjoining inner elevation N wall; single storey potting sheds to outer elevation. Compartmental layout with various formal paths in place. 2-leaf decorative iron entrance gate to S; boarded timber doors.
